Via di Gioia contributes to saving the oceans by choosing to create beautiful swimwear using mainly recycled PET from discarded plastic waste, collected from the oceans. More specifically, for their current collection, they partnered with Estilmar, a Spanish company based in Barcelona that produces high-quality recycled fabrics. These fabrics are made from premium post-recycled polyester yarns Seaqual™ and Perpetual™, recovered waste from the Mediterranean Sea

The Plunge top gives you a flattering fit, support and movement you'll love. Featuring eye-catching embroidery, smooth rib fabric and a firm adjustable underband strap to optimize lift and support.
The Plunge top is great for both smaller and bigger breast sizes. The soft and firm fabric gives you great support and feels great on your skin. The non-stretch mesh fabric on the sides of the cup centers your breasts beautifully and prevents them from falling to the side, giving your breasts a soft natural cleavage. The wide shoulder straps feel soft and won’t dig into your skin. The top is fully lined with an opaque and firm fabric that is 0% see-through. The strap at the back of the top is adjustable, so you can personalize the strap to fit perfectly to your body. Having embroidery all over, this top is definitely a statement piece.

SEAQUAL® YARN is made for 90% with high quality polyester material that is coming 100% from waste of products that have been used before by others. For the rest 10% it is made of marine plastic recovered from our oceans, beaches and rivers. This is thanks to the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, which is a unique collaborative community fighting plastic pollution. 

SEAQUAL® YARN has basically the same qualities as any other similar virgin material, but its recycled content reduces water consumption by 34%, energy by 40%, and carbon emissions by 37% during the production process. So, it's like what you have been used until now, with the addition of contributing to saving the oceans and recycling waste. The material is certified in its composition with what is called GRS certification and also is made in a safe way (OEKO-Tex standard). 

The material is fully recyclable at the end of its life.
