Collection & Co was founded to provide vegan footwear with the use of non-animal leathers and non-animal glues. Their aim is to transcend the need for leather. Taking time to source sustainable materials that have the same look, feel and texture but without the cruelty

Collection & Co produces their products in a small family run factory in Greece

I have to say at the beginning the sandals were hurting my feet but after a few wears the material became more subtle and has been lasting me so many summer nights!

The Mara strappy sandals are the ideal evening shoe. Featuring a structured square toe and straps to tie around the ankles for support. Complete with a square block heel of 10 cm.
All products are made from cruelty-free materials and non-animal glues.

Collection & Co was created in 2016 by fashion industry professional Felisha Papa, with the aim of providing high-end sustainable footwear made without animal leathers or glue. Their fashion credentials show – their styles are always perfectly on trend – but manage to be classic too.
Protecting the environment is one of their key values, and they use a variety of upcycled and eco-friendly materials, including Pinatex (from pineapple leaf fibres) and recycled plastics. Plus they try to reuse materials left over from previous collections, creating minimal waste. They combine this careful attention to sourcing with responsible manufacturing, and as a result, they only produce limited quantities of each style in a small factory in Greece, so once it’s gone, it may well be gone forever.

Piñatex® is a vegan leather alternative made from pineapple leaf ﬁber. It is an innovative, natural, and biodegradable textile. 

Piñatex® is a sustainably sourced textile, made from a natural waste product, created with low water usage and low production waste, and containing no harmful chemicals or animal products. Because Piñatex®’s leaves are the byproduct of existing agriculture, no additional environmental resources are required for raw material. The material helps to repurpose some of the 13 million tonnes of waste the global pineapple agriculture industry contributes every year.

Piñatex supports rural farming communities by working directly with farming cooperatives to create an additional stream of income to pineapple farmers.

If the supplier does not offer free returns, you are responsible for packaging up the item and posting it back at your own cost

Organic cotton farmers can keep soil healthy for longer, as the fertility of the soil is not compromised. This also means they only grow GMO-free seeds. Additionally, organic cotton farmers do not have to expose themselves to harmful chemicals, prioritizing workers' health, the health of the people in their communities, and the natural ecosystems they operate in. 

Organic cotton is a bio-based material, making it biodegradable, fully composting after it has retired from use.

Organic cotton is a sustainable solution as it is grown without the use of pesticides, from seeds which have not been genetically modified, unlike regular cotton. It is also more sustainable for cotton farmers, protects their land and is more respectful for people.
